Dr. Krysten Vredegoor,

Partner and Medical Director

Dr. Marc Zieben grew up in Houston, Texas. After attending Texas A&M University, (home of the fightin’ Texas Aggies), he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Science in 1980. He received a veterinary science degree in 1982 and then earned his doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 1984. His future employer and mentor, Dr. Gerald Parker, Texas A&M class of ‘43, helped Dr. Zieben get started at Colonies North Animal Hospital. Dr. Zieben is happily married to his wife, Morna Zieben, and they have two wonderful children, Jacob and Sarah. They also have a labrador retriever, “Max,” four cats (“Nike,” “Crystal,” “Fritz” and “Jack”), as well as “Sydney,” a ball python snake. Oh, and let’s not forget “Fred,” their African spurred tortoise. In his spare time, Dr. Zeiben enjoys spending time with his family, practicing martial arts, scuba diving, kayaking, reading, salt water fishing, and hiking.

Megan Keller

Practice Manager

I have been in the Veterinary field since 2004. I joined the Huebner Oaks team as a receptionist in 2010. In my time here I have learned and grown so much. After a few years I was promoted to lead receptionist, in 2018 I was promoted to clinic Administrator and back in August of 2019 I became the practice Manager. I am very passionate about helping animals, communicating with clients, building relationships with clients.and maintaining a healthy work environment. I feel very lucky to be working in the field. I can't imagine working anywhere else. I'm married to my highschool sweetheart. He's a vet tech and loves helping animals just as much as I do. We have two children (Judith and Alice) & four pets (a pitbull mix named Aiden, a papillon mix named Autumn and 2 cats named Sardine and Ethel). On my time away from work I love spending time with loved ones, volunteering in the community and I enjoy hiking.
