Meet our team
Dr. Kyrsten Vredegoor was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada and graduated from St. George’s University vet school in 2019.
She has spent the past 5 years of her career practicing at Stone Oak Veterinary Hospital, Town and Country Veterinary Hospital, and now as the Medical Director at Huebner Oaks Veterinary Hospital. At all these locations she has taken great care of emergencies, sick patients, and wellness visits alike.
Dr. V’s veterinary interests are all things surgery related, Emergency/Urgent Care and General Practice. Dr. V’s animal friends at home include 5 cats and 1 dog. Her favorite activities outside of veterinary medicine include relaxing at home, hiking, traveling, and crocheting!

I have been in the Veterinary field since 2004. I joined the Huebner Oaks team as a receptionist in 2010. In my time here I have learned and grown so much. After a few years I was promoted to lead receptionist, in 2018 I was promoted to clinic Administrator and back in August of 2019 I became the practice Manager. I am very passionate about helping animals, communicating with clients, building relationships with clients.and maintaining a healthy work environment. I feel very lucky to be working in the field. I can't imagine working anywhere else. I'm married to my highschool sweetheart. He's a vet tech and loves helping animals just as much as I do. We have two children (Judith and Alice) & four pets (a pitbull mix named Aiden, a papillon mix named Autumn and 2 cats named Sardine and Ethel).On my time away from work I love spending time with loved ones, volunteering in the community and I enjoy hiking.
